Lucien Shoemaker, son of John Shoemaker (SSBN-611 Blue), died in an auto accident August 4th, in Salt Lake City, Utah. A memorial service was held on Monday, August 9th followed by burial in Bountiful, Utah. Most of you had met Lucien at one time or another and just thought other crew members would like to know of this shipmate's personal loss.
